DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Dr. Steven Lin\nThe University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center \n“Lung cancer and immune suppression during treatment”\nDr. Steven Lin is a Physician-Scientist and Radiation Oncologist who specialize in thoracic malignancies. He is a Radiation Oncologist in Houston Texas and is affiliated with University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. \nHe will discuss how we can improve on the treatment for lung cancer…Particularly in patients with locally advance lung cancer. \nPatients who receive chemotherapy and radiation with curative input may forgo surgery. Dr. Lin will discuss the progress that have been made in Oncology for patients with lung cancer and how immune suppression during treatment could be compromising the effectiveness of treatment. \nEvenings includes Dinner\, Presentation\, and Question & Answer Session.
